Panel Flounce Trim 15"X120" DescriptionThis is an exceptional and unusual pale ecru/beige lace panel which strongly resembles Idria braided lace.  It measures ~15"X120," and features  numerous bobbin-made trails of linen stitches and half stitches on reseau background.   The reseau  extends  ~2&1/2 inches below the trails, and ~7" above the trails.  This  lace panel has been well-preserved, and is in overall very good-excellent condition.  It is soft and supple, and apart from showing age-consistent yellowing with storage stains which may be appreciated in the photos, no other issues are noted.  It would make a fabulous flounce, valence,  or wedding apparel embellishments.  Please enlarge photos for details.                 Place a Bid!
