Rail Yard Dead Light which came out of a New York City commercial estate and it is in good looking and in working condition. Cast into the iron casing is ''U.S.& S. Co., Pat. May 1, 1923, T 162985.'' This light was in a prominent Broadway railroad yard and it signaled incoming trains that this was the end of the track and there was no where else to go. It features a distinctive shape with heavy cast iron casing which is at least 1/4'' thick throughout and is authentic rail memorabilia whether you want to add it to your collection, use it for display, exhibit, and/or place it back into creative service. It measures 8''x9''x50'' and weighs 85 pounds.
