Description
PRESENTLY, THERE IS NO SECOND, WHICH IS THE ONLY ONE ! DIMENSIONS:(External diameter: 80mm) ; (Internal diameter: 62.5mm) Width of the Bangle's face: 8.5mm; Tickness of the Bangle's surface: 15.5mm WEIGHT: 50 g Hello!I am Zhao Bi-Chu the ceramic bangle’s maker, would like to thank the auction Web site eBay for giving me this opportunity to offer my rare collection of pottery ring for auction. Those who engage in the production of ceramic artists all know, to burn a whole coated with the porcelain enamel is a very difficult task, especially a hand-ring is similar to such a small bar of the soil, in the temperature above 1200 degree Celsius, the bar of soil will shrink and deform, at the same time the glaze will start to melt and will adhere any region of the contact. Even if using the oxidized alumina powder, the surface of glaze will be rough, and so will cause undesirable results, it is real a very difficult job. I have spent a few years for firing many times in the ceramic making, in order to get a ceramic ornament, I try to burn the bangle and found it is not easy to make, by the every opportunity of making pottery, I use different methods to try again and again, A few years later, once on a very accidental firing pottery, I got this work. In order to seek similar works, I have in search of encyclopedias, and Internet access to all museum sites, including the National Palace Museum in Beijing of China, and Taiwan's National Palace Museum, but no results to be found. For this reason I very much hope that all the archaeologists and museum scholars can access advice! In accordance with the inference of me that our predecessors should be no such similar works, because the production of ceramic ring should be involved in some aspects of modern technology and materials, as later generations whether can produce similar works or not, In my experience, even if they use the methods and techniques as mine, still will have to spend at least several years, but not sure be able to successfully burn. Even I myself still wonder could once again to successfully make it out! The production of the bangle is to mold the soil for a ring to first-burn in 900 degree C for semi-finished products and then coated with glaze which contains a lot of iron ingredients and to burn at 1200 degree C (please refer to below SGS's test report), most of its glaze showing a smaller iron brown crystal, some of the very few is a micro and darker glaze of light. Please refer to below images... The ring's internal there are five parts, namely: White background brown color embossed "dragon"; White background brown color embossed ancient word "Ji Yang (Auspicious)". White glaze and hollow cursive carving "World Peace"; White glaze and hollow cursive carving "The world is public". Brown color's background white color hollow carving my name's seal "Zhao Bichu". (The above picture of seal on the left side of the arc of a phenomenon is due to take the top right of the camera angle caused. it's arc is as same as bangle's arc.) By above pictures can be seen that the embossment of the dragon's foot and beard and "Ji Yang" word are the finer lines which is very difficult to sculpt out from the argil. As for the picture in several parts as at bottom of the ancient words "Ji Yang" and the inside of images including the cursive's word are appeared on a small amount of brown, Due to the high temperature caused by burning glaze mixture into each other, it is the problem of production of ceramics had to face. Of course, to use the transferable stickers on a flat surface is the exception. Thanks all ! TEST REPORT Remark: According to CNS9740(2008), the ceramic bangle's test has been adopted by the value of the vitrified ceramic's standard ... that is the test value of the water absorption must be equal or less than 1%, and the test value of glazed surface abrasion test must be equal or less than 0.08g. for reach the vitrifying of porcelain usually subject to the high temperature of 1200 Degree C and higher. furthermore, the Mohs' hardness 8 of ceramic bangle is higher than the topaz's 7, that means the hardness of the ceramic bangle is closer to the diamond than topaz. The test report will be sent to buyer together with ceramic bangle .
