They are impressive with matching mirror image carving. They are gold gesso gilded solid wood.   Both feature a beautiful oil painted angel or cherubs surrounded by carved flowers and birds. These where purchased years ago from a Savannah antique shop.   When I purchased them one of the tips had been glued, but I since had it professionally restored.   The hardware on the back was added before I purchased them, but the original hardware is still intact.  Other than a few nicks and stable cracks in the wood these are sturdy and in excellent condition. They are impressive in size and measure shelf is 16'' wide by 7'' inches deep. They are 19 1/2 '' tall by 17 inches at widest.
