The brochure which is enclosed with the stereoview and cards says: "An atlas of diseases of the skin, consisting of colored stereoscopic illustrations and a text in the form of clinical lectures, designed for the use of practitioners and students of medicine. There are 132 cards in the complete set. This auction includes all 132 cards, which is rare. Usually over 10% or more of the cards are missing. The cards in are very good to excellent condition. Scan #1 shows card #1; Scan #2 shows card #26; and scan #3 shows card #34. There are 3 cards that have defects. Card #34 shown in scan #3 has the worst defect. A piece missing at the top middle. The other 2 cards that have defects just have a small piece missing in the top or bottom middle, definitely not as bad as card #34. The cards show diseases of the skin, including syphillis. etc.  These cards are very gross and disgusting, and I have not shown any of these. The cards have the disease on the front, and on the back, there is a description of the disease, the diagnosis and the treatment. The brochure, see scan #4, is in poor condition, but is included. Also included is the Stereoview, made of metal, wood and glass lenses. It is in excellent conditon, as well as the card holder, which is made of wood with metal holders. See scan #5.
