I am very pleased to bring you ANOTHER clean Singer - A 201 treadle in a BEAUTIFUL small parlor style cabinet that is just fabulous. The cabinet only measures 21" wide x 17" deep & 31" high. So its not much bigger than a end table & about the height of a dinner table. Its beautiful, wont take up miuch space and is one of the most sought after vintage sewing tools ever made! (SAFEST WAY TO SHIP THIS ITEM IS FREIGHT.  PLUS YOU PAY THE FREIGHT CARRIER NOT US FOR THE SHIPPING FEES THEY PICK IT UP, PACK IT,  CARRY THEIR OWN INUSRANCE ETC. SCROLL DOWN TO THE SHIPPING INFO IN THIS DESCRIPTION  FOR MORE INFO.) I just got this machine in from UK - realize this cabinet & setup is even  more rare in the US!  It was made in Scotland. Includes a belt that is in excellent condition, the original 201 manual a handful of accessories and at least one bobbin. (Bobbins are readily available - I am sure I can find a couple of extras and throw them in the accessory box for you.) I think this is a fabulous find. The 201 is one of the most sought after vintage Singers to this day, many consider it the best of its class. This one dates to 1948 and it is in fabulous condition. The cabinet is beautiful and the machine is fairly later model 201 and works like new. The machine itself has no rust and the chrome is all shiny. The black japanned finish is beautiful and barely shows any age. . I think this machine will easily please anyone that is lucky enough to win it! However descriptions are very subjective so please Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself and ask plenty of questions.  ALL SERIOUS OFFERS CONSIDERED. SHIPPING INFO I think I can safely pack & this this via a regular carrier for about $95.00 to most on the US mainland. Its not very big but it is pretty heavy. The machine head will be shipped in a seperate box.  I think its can go safely DHL or Fedex but the safest way is freight. DHL & Fedex do not give the packages the same care freight carriers will - I recommend a real good one below. I will also allow (prefer) it be picked up - all I ask is that if you pick it up is that you pay for it immediatley after the auction & I will hold it for you for up to 30 days for no charge. FREIGHT The best way to ship something like this is freight & I have done research for a freight carrer that caters more to residential shippers. They will pick it up AND crate/package  it and deliver it to your door or even in your house if you want. They are the best value for a regular consumer to ship something freight. You would pay them and everything to do with getting it delivered to you including picking up, packing it, insurance etc would be handled with them. However Freighters & Craters is going to cost you.  It will probably start at about $350.00 depending on where you are & what services you what. Its the best way to ship a item like this and but you have pay for it. I have shopped around & Freighters & Craters are the best value for the money. I recommend this method.
