Salvaged Church Architectural Cut Stone Once in a lifetime chance to buy a church Start Price USD 80,000.00 Current Price USD 80,000.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, July 17, 2008 End Time Sunday, July 27, 2008 Location Glen Mills, PA See more about 'Salvaged Church Architectural Cut Stone' Description You are looking at pictures of a Presbyterian church which was recently disassembled in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  The Church was removed from the property to make way for a new condo complex.  Great care was taken during the salvage process to prevent any of the important architectural details from being damaged.  What is for sale is the cut limestone door surrounds, window surrounds, bell tower, spires, wall coping, buttress caps, and water table.  Any cut stone you see in the pictures is included except for one of the doorways which is being used in the new complex.  The building stone was salvaged and sold locally.  In all we have about 11 tractor trailer loads of pallets filled with cut stone. The spires are each about 8 ft tall and the windows are about 20 ft tall. This building took up about 1/2 of a city block.  The building is about 110 years old and the stone has a wonderful aged look.  If you look thru the pictures you will see what it looked like in 1900, then what it looked like before being taken apart.  You will also see a computer image of how it could be reconfigured into a chapel for and estate or campus.  There is a rendering of what it might look like as a garden folly.   You will also find a concept sketch of a pool area with all the pieces used to create a walled enclosure and loggia around the pool.
