SALES AGENTS  No. 67250 It also is marked on the back side : PAT. DEC. 11 - 1900 “       AUG. 28 - 1906 ---------------------------------------- This very high quality instrument has three power positions for fine viewing. Each one is marked: SPENCER BUFFALO U.S.A. After that mark, each one has different magnification settings, here is how they are marked:  I’m starting with the one that has a no brass tip. This one is marked: 1. HOM. IMM. 1.8MM. N,A, 1.25 95x 167462 2. 16MM, N,A, 0.25 10x 163420 3. 4MM. N,A, 0.66 44x 167480 The round thing that spins them into position is marked: SPENCER LENS CO. The top piece where you look thru, is marked; -- 7.5 The heavy iron frame shows wear and the brass fittings also show wear and need polishing, but overall it is in great condition. All parts and brass knobs are turning smoothly. This microscope was found wrapped up in cloth inside my great grandmothers closet, other then that I know nothing about were she got it, or why she had it. It also had this black plastic box inside marked on top; - MICROSCOPE SLIDES - and on bottom of box - MADE IN U.S.A. This bonus box of slides has some very interesting slides inside, some are blank, but some are marked as follows: 1. E. COLI - 1-20-47 - (THERE ARE 4 OF THESE) 2. WHITE PINE 3. WHITE SPRUCE 4. BULL ???? (not sure what second word is) 5. RUSSIAN OLIVE - HG WEBER ‘09 6. BUFFALO BERRY - HG WEBER ‘09 7. IODAMOEBA + E. NANA - 1-20-47 8. DWARF MAPLE - HG WEBER 9. LOCUST - HG WEBER ‘09 There are also 9 blank ones and one, I can not read As you can tell, I know noting about microscopes so feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures, I tried to find one like it on the web but was unable to pin-point this exact one.
