Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE!                 IT'S TIME TO SHOP FOR THE HOLIDAY'S!!!                                                                 "SINGER SEWHANDY"   MODEL 20      TOY SEWING MACHINEMeasures 6-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 7         Circa 1940 - 50's      Up for auction is a Singer SEWHANDY Model 20 sewing machine in Excellent-near-MINT condition.  The tan glossy paint finish is very nice (the hand wheel has minor wear). The metal parts shine. The hand-wheel turns and the needle part moves. It has a unique, solid flat hand-wheel; which is rarer than the spiral hand-wheel. It comes with a needle. It's complete.  It includes the original SINGER box. It has been taped. The paper graphics are nice for display. The machine includes a unique SINGER instruction booklet using pictures of animals and clowns instead of words so it can be understood in any language. It also comes with the original SIMANCO table clamp and the original manila envelope for the clamp. The machine is listed in Glenda Thomas' Toy Sewing Machine Reference Guide Book I, copyright, 1995. She appraised it at up to $150. The machines in Thomas' books have increased in value since publication. Don't let this rare gem get away!
