It comes in a fitted solid wooden military carrying case and includes Wind Transmitter ML-203-A and Wind Panel ML 204-A. This equipment is intended primarily for attachment to airdrome control towers and for semi-permanent installations at weather stations. The transmitter consists of a cup rotor, anemoneter head, wind vane assembly, vane tail and counterbalance. This equipment also includes the 47 page War Department Technical Manual dated 10 March 1943. There are two cup rotors which are made of bakelite as are significant portions of the anemometer head and wind vane assembly. This is the highest quality equipment which we've never seen before whether you add it to your collection and/or place it in service. In the carrying case it measures 9-1/2''x15''x23'' and weighs 36 pounds.
