The coat, which measures approximatley 40 inches long and about 15 inches wide (not including the shoulder points), is very heavily decorated with several hundres pieces of silver in the form of silver discs (some with colored stones mounted on them), silver coins and large silver beads. With the exception of the few coins on the coat, all of the silver pieces appear to be hand made and some are quite intraicately engraved and embossed - as to the colored stones, I have no idea what the are, but they include amber, green, red all in differing shades of color. I do not know the exact age of this coat, but I believe it was made around 1950; however, I believe many of the silver decorations are much older than that. The over all condition of the coat is very good with no apparent lose of silver decoration; however, there are some dents to some of the silver beads and some damage to the cloth fringe around one of the shoulder points.
