Description
A very clean German Popper coin piano, circa 1920. This was built at the Leipzig factory to accomodate a percussion section on top, but this one is set up as a piano with mandolin. You could add drums and pipes if you wanted a "full" orchestrion (see: http://www.swissmusicbox.com/showroom/10/140/Popper-Happy-Jazzband.html) ! Very good original (?) finish with oak veneer. Looks complete except for front lamps. Extremely clean action & interior with no moth or water damage. Motor is 110 volt. Included are six multi-tune Popper rolls. These are great-sounding instruments, and extremely well-built. More rolls are available as recuts and original. Like all European coin pianos, this one used a wall box (not included, but perhaps available separately) to accept the customer's money. Pick up welcome (no steps). Soundboard looks excellent.
