Description
Untitled Electric Motor after Charles Grafton Page This is a beautiful replica of an electric motor as it was originally designed by Charles Grafton Page and built by Daniel Davis of Boston. It is called Pages revolving magnet. The replica is made by a professional instrumentmaker and is of high quality workmanship using authentic materials as a soft iron magnet, mahagony base, brass fittings and cotton covered wire coils. The motor runs on a 1.5 volt normal battery cell. This is a truly unique item, wich is practically impossible to find as an original because they are museum pieces. For more information, please look at the website: http://physics.kenyon.edu/EarlyApparatus/Titlepage/Davis.html The movie will show you the motor in action. Also see my other motor (Davis' revolving bell engine, separate listing)
