Description This is an Egyptian - New Kingdom - circa 1800 - 1400 B.C. - bronze Kohl Tube. It is a slender tapering phial suspended from a ring on chains. The patina is wonderful. This is a truly unique piece of authentic Egyptian antiquity. This piece was acquired by seller from Butterfields & Butterfields ( now Bonhams & Butterfields ) auction house in San Francisco, CA in 1997, and I have absolutely no reason to believe this is not the genuine article.
