I love romantic eclectic decor and refined shabby chic with all the trimmings like sterling crystal china lace embroidery and of course linen. Years ago a governess took me aside and taught me how to care for it; she taught me her age-old tricks and secrets. After many years, my passion awoke, and I'm hooked!    Nothing compares to the old textiles!    The super fine double damask damask  "real" linen organdy Madeira and silk as well as cotton, each item is carefully laundered and finished; my friends thinks me nuts, but...      I really do love it all. Antimacassar tray cloths doilies tablecloths napkins lapkins centerpieces table toppers embroidered or plain truly do add beauty and character no-one need live without ! And, being environmentally friendly is important, so I don't like to use chlorine nor do I use starch; I iron the old fashioned way- "wet" with a hot dry iron. It brings the linen up like the polished surface of a glass mirror, what I call a "glass finish." Each piece is individual with unique characteristics tones and colour, they almost have personalities all their own.      I want you to be happy with your items, and be proud to use and display them, or give them as special gifts.   And also to, do remember to check out my other auctions as from time-to-time I offer up items in addition to antique and vintage linens so y'u just never know what'll find ;-)     ELEGANCE RECLAIMEDIS A TRADEMARK NAME AND IS COPYRIGHTEDALL RIGHTS RESERVED, COPY OR REPUBLICATION PROHIBITED.ELEGANCERECLAIMED.COM WEB SITES© COPYRIGHT ELEGANCE RECLAIMED 2008ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, COPY OR REPUBLICATION PROHIBITED.   Contact Us   Please feel free to email me at ASK SELLER A QUESTION.
