This is from the Estate of a very old couple who are life long serious Ivory Collectors and are having to sell their rare (PREBAN) Antique Ivories and Scrimshaws Collection in order to help cover Medical expenses due to seirous illnesses. This Collection was obtained legally in this Country over 100 years ago and has been in the same family and are perfectly legal for sale by EBAY and the U.S. REGULATIONS however I am not allowed for sales outside the U.S.  The Teeth and Scrimshaws are mostly large but range in size from about 4" (for the smallest one) and over 8 " on the curve for the largest. This fine genuine Antique Scrimshaw Collection would make a Showpiece for any fine Maritime Collection or would be an incredible way to begin a very Rare Scrimshaw Collection since getting these authentic and legal Scrimshaws are very difficult these days because imports are not allowed in the country now and Collectors hold on to them because they are constantly increasing in value and make fine investments without risk.
