This one is made by the solingen firm of "H & F. LAUTERJUNG" an extremely rare early maker. All fittings on this dagger are the early solid nickel-silver type with a golden/copper finish. Matching crossguards both internally marked "H" with the lower one marked "Wm" to reverse. Bright blade in excellent condition still having nearly 100% of it's original factory crossgraining. Brown anodized scabbard also in excellent condition showing some very mild age to the finish, still maintaining about 99% of its original brown anodized finish, with the golden/copper finished nickel-silver fittings in excellent condition. Mild chip to wooden grip, otherwise in excellent condition. An extremely rare 100% original and hard to find dagger for the advanced collector!!! Owner acquired straight out of a vet's estate.
