Large Antique Maritime Wooden Telescope Price Reduced Buy It Now: $ 2,500.00 Description: Wonderful antique telescope in great condtion recently purchased in Italy and believed to be French made dating around 1850 perhaps a little later. The main body is wood construction, tripod is walnut and of course the balance of work was completed in brass. Original lens cap is available as well as the smaller cover held by a wire in the peep hole or eye access area. The glass quality is very good and clarity is good. We are not certain what the magnification is but it appears to be very good. The complete piece as stated is in wonderful condition and all parts and pieces are present and in good working order.
