Offered in this listing is an amazing sideboard or buffet.  I believe it is oak.  Just look at the pictures.  Unfortunately, the pictures do not do it justice.  It truly is amazing with carving, great hardware and lots of beveled glass, which is on the doors and the centerpiece;  the entire large mirror is also beveled.The piece is all original; there are no modifications that I see.THIS IS EASILY TRANSPORTED!I was told by the previous owner that this came from a castle in Germany.  It measures ~ 9 feet 4 inches tall by 7 feet 3 inches wide.  It is 20 inches deep at the sides where the doors are and 27 inches deep in the middle.  Condition is very good.  The column on the right side as you view it is a little loose;  there was a small amount of water on the top, which is obviously not visible and certainly not major.  There are several minor separations in the wood ... very thin.When taking the pictures, I neglected to be aware of a light fixture that was blocking the view of the carved griffin on the top.  While not visible in the big overall picture, I did picture it separately.In addition to its beauty, it has great functionality providing loads of storage.I will let the pictures talk and I welcome your questions.  Believe it or not, it comes apart with not a much difficulty.  The mirror is the heaviest piece.  After that, the pieces come apart.  In fact, I took it apart to move it.  You end up with the mirror, the mirror frame, two capitols on top of each side, the two large side pieces with the doors, the center piece and the piece on the center piece.  It really was not difficult and makes moving much easier.This can be picked up in the Kansas City area.  It can also be shipped by a mover/ shipper and would not cost that much relative to its value.  I would also consider renting a truck and personally delivering it within a reasonable distance to Kansas City.  Let's say, for example, Dallas and Chicago are reasonable distances.  You would pay for the truck rental.I don't think you will find another.  If you have the room for this and like the style and have the money ... taake advantage of this opportunity.I am realistic.  I want it sold.  It has been taken apart and is in storage.  If you want to pick it up yourself at a future date, that's fine as I will safely store it for you at no additional cost.Pay by check (needs to clear), money order or paypal.  Shipping cost will obvioulsly be determined based on your specific needs.
