They are a fine quality cotton fabric, with an ivory cotton lining and a medium-weight interlining and gold and ivory silk tassled fringed trim down the edges. The curtains come with 5 swags and 2 tails, silk tassled cords and twisted rope tie backs. The curtains are in very good condition, just a little sun fading down the leading edge, but otherwise lovely. The headings are French pleats, with fixings stitched on. The dimensions are: Pair 1.: The length is 2.8 m (9 ft 3 in ) long by 60 cm ( 2ft) wide (each curtain) therefore large enough for a 4 ft wide window.  Pair 2.: The length is again, 2.8 m ( 9ft 3 in) long by 1 m 20 cm ( 4 ft) wide each curtain therefore large enough for an 8 ft window. This pair has fringing down both edged, all matching. These came as a set which covered one large window, a dining room. There are 2 swags @ 36" ( 90 cm ) across the top, 2 swags @ 26" and 1 @ 31" which is a yellow glazed chintz. The chintz one was the central swag with a small centre tail over it @ 2 ft (60 cm) . The 2 long tails are 5 ft (1.6 m). All of these have silk tassled fringing as you can see in the photos.  Below is an old Victorian photo of Westcroft Park, the curtains came from the dining room.   It is possible that the curtains could be used for 2 windows, instead of one large bay, with a little adapting. The quality is great and this is an opportunity to buy a set of curtains at an extremely  reasonable price. Please remember with vintage or antique textiles they are not perfect (unless I happen to mention they are!) so please do not expect that (believe me some people do!).
