Corner Cupboard.Circa: 1860-80Wow, what a beauty.I purchased this over 6 years ago from another online dealer out of PA(joebuck?). I hate to sell it, but I decided the money would help my wife get her business up and going. It is more important than the corner cupboard.All hand scraped down to this great old original mustard paint. Original crown moldings from what I can tell. The hardware is also all original from what I can tell. I love the old hook interior clasps. Wonderful. The only replacements that I see are the football like wooden turn closures on the front doors.The doors are are panelled with a chamferred interiors. They open and close with ease.The interior is painted in an old cream color which covers the original mustard paint. Absolutely great. It comes complete with double plate grooves on the shelving.The cupboard is all square nailed. Great old original back with that untouched oxidized patina. I always love how the painter used the backboards to clean off the brush(see original mustard).The cupboard is in fine shape. I love its simplicity and its paint. Mustard paint is so hard to come by these days and the fact that this is a corner cupboard makes it that much more special I think.Remember, bid to win.Size: 76 1/4"tall by 36"across the front with then a 5"side return. It goes roughly about 29"deep into the corner.You will absolutely be hard pressed to find another corner cupboard in original mustard paint.Pick up welcomed.
