It has several layers of batting in between and is edged in red fabric. It dates to the late 1800's. The sampler is worked in wool on canvas and only goes to the letter U. It measures 6 1/8" by 4" . There are a few missing stitches but no other damage. There is a museum collection tag stitched to the back but this can be removed.    We do not charge a handling fee -- only actual shipping.
