Exceptional Piece. It is a Page Turner ? Purchased at a very old Estate.  And judging from other items for sale, I placed this to the Northeastern United States.  I have taken several photos.  But yet it is hard to truly capture.  It is WONDERFUL in PERSON. I have not attempted to clean this at all. It appears to be made of some sort of Bone.  Obviously the handle is some sort of bone.  I don't know if the long part is Ivory or Bone.  If it is Ivory, it is most certainly Pre-Ban.  The overall length is 11 1/2."  And it is 1 1/4" at its widest. There is a very Rich Patina. It is in VERY GOOD Antique Condition.  (There is a little bit of a gap at the seam on one side (seen in photo) where the two pieces are joined.)  This would be a FINE Addition to any Maritime Scrimshaw, Primitive, or Folk Collection.
