This chart covers the area from Cuttyhunk Island, part of the Elizabeth Islands, eastward to Chatham and includes Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. This chart is highly detailed with hundreds of soundings, locations, types of buoys, bottom type, cable crossings, tidal information, reefs, shoals and anchorages. These large nautical charts are generally rare as they were working charts and discarded. A great chart! Condition: Good for a working chart of this type. Dark toning on right. Small water stain on center right near Nantucket. Water stain on left corner to Martha's Vineyard but blends in with tone of rest of chart. White bleach stain on left border. Series of 4 small holes down left side - not in chart area. Note the water stain is more pronounced on the back photo then it actually is on the front.  Was once used as a working chart and as such - certain imperfections are to be expected - however, a great example of Eldridge.
