The decoy is 18" long, 8.5" high and 6" across the back.. He has an old hammered rectangular lead weight nailed on over an older weight of about the same size. The decoy has old paint. The paint on his back appears to be original and has simple graphic feather painting. The grey area on his sides fluoresces under a black light and appears to been repainted. The head appear to have an old repaint even though it did not fluoresce. The Brant is blind and I see no signs of tack eyes.The Brant has a pleasing look and is very sturdy. He has a screwed on leather loop on the bottom front. Oh yes, he is not happy about having his picture taken against a lacy back drop but the rain is spoiling out door shots as well as the World Series!.
