The profile of the front of this piece as viewed from the side is serpentine and carved in the shape of a wave, with the top drawer curving out, the middle drawer curving in, and the bottom drawer which curves out again, but more flattened than the top drawer; reminiscent of the profile of a wave upon the water. A carved Tree of Life is above each foot. The hourglass shape of the sides is said to be inspired by the curves of a woman's body. Carved bellflowers, which symbolize gratitude..   Place a Bid!
