Gurley Light Mountain Transit With Burt Solar Attachment. This is a very nice W. & L. E. Gurley Light Mountain Transit with Burt solar attachment.  This instrument also has a pretty rare option on the mountain transits which are the 90 degree sights mounted on the standards of the instrument for doing quick 90's off the instrument.  Note with the 90 degree sights that Gurley moved the vial to the inside of the instrument standards to make room for the sights. This instrument still has a lot of the original finish still intact and is absolutely gorgeous. These instruments are very sought after by many collectors so do not miss out on the chance to own your very own Gurley solar instrument.  These make great centerpieces to any collection so don't be shy and bid.
