Email me if you are looking for a particular "view".   This chart came out of the USC&GS  "ATLANTIC COAST PILOT, DIVISION B,  BOSTON TO NEW YORK, SECOND EDITION 1880". The paper is not the heavy chart paper but is not the light paper like the Coast Survey charts which come out of Coast Surveys of earlier years. This is an edition of the "Atlantic Coast Pilot" not "Coast Survey". This paper has a watermark which is "CRANE & CO.  DALTON, MASS. 1880". It is a light but tough paper.   These charts were folded and will be shipped that way. They need to be flattened. They are black ink on light off white paper. These charts can be hand colored. Fantastic detail.   This chart is "BUZZARD'S BAY MASSACHUSETTS 1880". Fantastic detail of this area of Cape Cod,  The Islands, and Buzzard's Bay. Starting with the Cuttyhunk Light and Vineyard Sound Light Vessel in the lower left center of the chart up the Elizabeth Islands to Wood's Hole. Then northerly up the eastern shore of Buzzard's Bay to Agawam. Then South west along the western shore of Buzzard's Bay past Sippican, mattapoiset, Fairhaven, New Bedford, then south past Clark's Cove, Round Hill, over to Slocum's River. Also shown is Hen and Chickens Light Vessel.  Many Light Houses and Buoys are shown. Great topograhical detail along with equally as great hydrograhical detail.
