Carved from ancient steatite the baboon is depicted in the seated position with phallus out and tail curled round forming the rectangular base. The base of the figure depicts a detailed carving of the Wadjet Eye with the long spiral body of a defensive cobra on the opposite. Precision carving with superb detail symbolic of the characteristics of this sacred deity. Additional photos on request.
